Sell your API to OpenCheese
/ For suppliersOpenCheese buys AI API access that would otherwise go unused: provider credits, keys and accounts with a balance, spare model capacity and GPU servers. We spend it on our customers' requests, which is part of how we keep prices low.
What we buy
- Unused API credits: OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), Google Gemini, DeepSeek or any other provider's credits you won't use before they expire: startup, research or promotional grants, bonuses, a prepaid balance you no longer need.
- API keys and accounts with a balance: a provider key or account that still has credit on it.
- Spare model capacity: rate limits or throughput you don't use, on a provider account or an endpoint you run.
- GPU servers: hardware, or time on it, to run open-weight models such as Qwen.
Provider permission comes first
Most providers' terms forbid selling, sharing or transferring API keys and credits, or supplying their models through a gateway, without their written agreement. So for anything that relies on a provider account, you need the provider's written authorization, and it must:
- describe OpenCheese routing unrelated customers' requests through your account and paying you;
- say whether purchased or promotional credits may fund that usage.
This applies to every provider, not only the ones we name. An agreement signed only with OpenCheese does not give you the provider's permission. What OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Meta (Muse) and xAI (Grok) each require is in section 5 of the Supplier Agreement. Your own GPU servers need no provider authorization (if someone else hosts them, the host's terms must allow it).
How selling works
- Email us the details below and the confirmation, with a copy of the provider's authorization when one is needed.
- We check the authorization, the balance, the limits and the expiry with you.
- We send you an offer with the price and the payment method.
- Once you accept it in writing, we agree the hand-over and pay.
We send no offer and make no payment without your confirmation and, for anything that relies on a provider account, a copy of the provider's authorization.
What to send
- the provider and the kind of access: credits, a key or account, capacity or GPU servers;
- the amount or capacity left, and the expiry date;
- how you would like to be paid;
- a copy of the provider's written authorization, attached (your own GPU servers need none).
And this confirmation, word for word:
I accept the OpenCheese Supplier Agreement v1.0 and confirm that, where its section 4 requires it, I hold the provider's written authorization and have attached a copy.
